Leading digital health innovation in New Zealand
What is Digital Health? Digital technologies such as social networking, mobile connectivity and bandwidth, increasing computing power and the data universe will converge with wireless sensors, genomics, imaging, and health information systems to recreate medicine and health care as we know it. Dr. Eric Topol, world renowned cardiologist and professor of genomics, in his book The Creative Destruction of Medicine refers to this as ‘digital medicine’.
The world is increasingly seeing the convergence of health care and wireless technology and these innovations are quickly becoming an integral part of the medical landscape. uHealth works with its digital health partners around the world, as well as key stakeholders locally, to develop, validate and deliver these cutting edge innovations to New Zealand - revolutionising the management of chronic diseases & wellbeing.
